Regional Collaboration and Business Climate Strategy
We develop regional collaboration strategies that promote cooperation, not competition. Our approach results in increased investment, job creation and retention of existing businesses. We developed and implemented the first St. Louis City/County strategic plan for economic development and led the consolidation of St. Louis City and County economic development functions. Each of the plans and implementation strategies were accomplished with input from a diverse of group of stakeholders, including businesses, non-profits, minority groups and other regional and cross-jurisdictional constituencies.
We have deep expertise in formulating strategies and managing programs that create an attractive business climate that leads to retention and expansion of major corporations and job growth. Information gathering, incentive packages, talent attraction, relationship building, media management and securing governmental approvals are critical to the success of any expansion project. We help communities navigate complex local, state and federal programs used to encourage businesses to invest and grow where they are.
